pete m. Senior Member Location Ohio May 14, 2010 #2 See 314.23(F). The NEC does not mandate the use of concrete but it does state that the conduits must be secured within 18" of the enclosure. Pete Welcome to the forum

walkerj Senior Member Location Baton Rouge May 14, 2010 #3 I usually drive a piece of unistrut in the ground and secure the box and the conduit(s) to it.
