Front of Switchgear??

How would you know whether the left or right of each piece of gear is the front or the back? Thanks.

That small double line on the gear usually means that is the front. So, gear C and B are facing each other and A is all lonely facing the wall.

If you ever in doubt, just contact the engineer. Most are pretty understanding and have no issues answering a quick question over the phone.
 
I agree with Adam. It more likely that they would want the 7' spacing between the fronts of both sections.
