I have a fuel dispenser and above ground tank with a pump to wire. There are two conduits going to the dispenser and they come up out of the concrete in rigid steel conduit, however, the owner decided to move the dispenser a few feet so they are no longer coming up into the dispenser. It should be fine to come up out of the concrete with my sealing fitting, then an explosion proof j box and a rigid conduit down from that box and run into the pump, shouldn't it? I don't think there's anything that says the conduits have to come up inside the dispenser? They are behind the pump and protected, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Also, the 2nd conduit for the dispenser is for communication cables. Does that need a sealing fitting? It stubs out of the ground at the shop next to the electrical conduits.
Thank you for your help.
