Just know that the fuse blew for a reason and the new one might blow again depending on what happened. I have read that the manufacturers install non user replaceable fuses for certain reasons. If that fuse blew, then it might not be something as simple as a temporary short or overload. There might be more bad parts on the board.
If it gets to board level repair then it is best for the factory to do the repairs on a life safety system.
It blew because some idiot hooked the batteries up backwards.
Component repair on a life safety system is a touchy subject. The LSS4 is discontinued and replacement boards are NOT cheap. I can get them repaired by EST for a lot less than a new board.
