Is there a minimum height requirement for installing a fused disconnect switch? All I see in 404.8 A is that the handle must be no higher than 6'-7". My real question now is: If I have a fused disconnect switch handle at 6'-7", can I place another disconnect switch below it, but offset to the right for conduit access from the top?

Is there a code prohibiting placing a fused disconnect switch above a fire/halon alarm pull station? The distance between the bottom of the disconnect to the top of the station pull is about 4 inches.

Try living up in Guerneville off the Russian River in Sonoma.

The whole damn town is below a flood plain!!!
Meh, only for about 3 months every year...

I've never lived there, but I spent a lot of summer weekends there in the 60s as a kid at the swimming beaches with my Mom and siblings while my Dad went steelhead fishing. Back then the water level was a lot higher all summer long and there were numerous summer resorts along the river. Now, because so much ground water is used for wine grapes, the water left in the river by this time of year is almost all just the treated water from the Santa Rosa wastewater treatment plant up stream.
