The question is a littel vague as it could mean the neutral being fused together with another wire (from a short circuit) But if it does mean having a fuse in series with the neutral then I dont think the NEC allows a OCP in a neutral unless the ungrounded conductors will be disconected simatainlesly.

Fused neutrals were woidely used back in the early knob and tube days. As already stated, a fused neutral would have a fuse in series with the neutral. It was very dangerous since if the fuse blew on the neutral side and the fuse did NOT blow on the hot side, you could become toast. From my understanding, fused neutral became illegal back in 1927.
