Fusing power supply outputs??

I am building a machine where we are using a few 24v power supplies. These are good for 4amps and like any modern power supply have current limit built in. I am trying to figure out if I need to fuse the OUTPUTS of these supplies in order to protect the wiring. I do not understand if it is NEC or a UL standard that I need to guide me. In other words, I am totally lost.

If you have any input I would like to hear it.

Are your machines going to be UL listed? Do you have a copy of UL 508 or NFPA 79?

We use 24Vdc power in listed product we manufacture. We also use many other nVDC circuits. We build our own power supplies. We don't fuse the power supply outputs and have never been asked to.
