Hi all,,
I'm working a design with a customer owned medium voltage distribution.
The circuit is a 21.6 to 24.94kV high line (3 potential supply voltages depending on location- this is a mobile piece of equipment) The circuit will supply a recloser going to a MV triplex that feeds a transformer.
I'm protecting the primary side up to 300% using 450.3.
Any reason I could not use fuse cutouts with appropriate sized fuses for primary protection?
The fuses would be in between high line and recloser.
