I have had a few contractors that have had problems with the H99 cans tripping an arc fault when the socket extenders were being used. Apparently if you screw the extender in it pushes the center of the socket so far back that it shorts the can to ground.

Had a friend who went crazy with this before he solved it. Three others have had the same problem.
