I know that the groundinge electrode conductor must terminate on the neutral bar. Question is, we have two Ground rods and #6 bare that goes to the neut. bar. does the cold water conductor also have to go to the neut. bar? We install service entrance rated transfer switches for S.B generators. the switch only has 4 spaces on the neut bar. on for the service entrance neut. one for the panel neut. one for the generator neutal and on for th GEC no room for anything else.
The neut. bar is bonded to the can and a smaller ground bar is in the switch as well. Inspector insisting on both being on Neut bar. I am using the assumption that the cold water ground is supplimental since we have the two rods as the GEC. and would be ok on the ground bar.
