Gainesville testing services

what county are you testing for ?
if it's miami dade dont use g.i.t.s (both test the same day)
but they are good for plam beach and broward county you could do one test at a time.

These are the references GITS identifies as approved for the Florida Master Electrician's Exam:

NFPA 70 - National Electrical Code, 2008
Code of Federal Regulations ? Title 29, Part 1926 (OSHA), 2003
American Electricians Handbook, 1996, 13th edition, Croft/Summers
Ugly's Electrical References, 2002, Hart
Industrial Motor Control, 1999, Herman

Yes I took my masters about 6 months ago through GITS in marion county Florida. I used my tabbed and highlighted code book and Uglys, they provided the other references listed. I was placed in a room by myself with cameras for the majority of the test until another tester came in. The proctor was very friendly and understanding. I would brush up on calculations for sure there are lots of them. The only book i used was my code book and i passed, so i would practice finding answers quickly and you will do fine! Good luck!
