G&W Switch Nomenclature

There are a couple of acronyms for G&W that nobody seems to have an answer for, as to what they stand for. Even the sales rep (at G&W) seems at a loss as to what these two acronyms mean:

RAM (as in RAM switch) - best guess was Rocker Arm Mechanism.

IFLDR - no one even had a guess.

I'm hoping that someone here might know :)

Lost me at G&W,
Looked them up so will see if your alphabet code is there.

IFLDR

I don't think so - the devices we still have in service in URD vaults are basically oil insulated fused switches. They're rapidly being phased out, but they still exist. Just can't seem to find anyone "mature" enough to remember what the "IFLDR" stands for - I guess the original design dates back to around the 1920s.

Very strange. A Google search for IFLDR yields a bunch of gwelec web pages none of which searchably contain the sequence IFLDR. It is as if the string IFLDR is hidden in the web page code and gets seen by the web crawler robot.
