Save your money. I and the local crew played with them a couple times a few years ago- too much assembly, not really a robust product, and really didn't save any time. I also don't recall whether they were picky about the actual tape. Might work for you but we gave up on it.

requires using proprietary tape. pfft.

35 years ago, i was doing trade shows for two years.
there is a device remarkably similar which works with 4" clear tape.
anybody's 4" tape. the kind of tape you'll find in a convention center
to do shows with.

i looked at the video of them laying down three cords at once, and
just sort of laughed, to be honest... it no workee like that.
