Have spec thats calling for galvanized steel EMT. Is there such a thing? Thanks

Pretty much all the EMT I have worked with was galvanized steel. Like this:

I think the specs are calling for galvanized steel EMT as opposed to like aluminum EMT. Basically, they're calling for regular EMT

This is a pet peeve of mine. Customer specs frequently call for "galvanized metal conduit" (GMC) or "galvanized rigid steel" (GRS) or even "rigid galvanized steel" (RGS). It should be spec'd as "rigid metallic conduit, steel, galvanized" 'cause if you look in the NEC, the last one, "rigid metallic conduit," is the only one that's a recognized method.
