I have a galvanized casing that needs to be bonded. Manure sump pit. Cad weld only or is there another option. SS bolts maybe?
Above ground or below for the connection?I have a galvanized casing that needs to be bonded. Manure sump pit. Cad weld only or is there another option. SS bolts maybe?
Below ground.Above ground or below for the connection?
Drill and Tap a hole and use servit post?
Hmm. Cald weld might be the best bet, I’m not sure if you could find a servit post listed for direct burial.Below ground.
Thanks. Just got to the shop computer to search this out.View attachment 2558993Well looks like it is listed for direct burial.
I would consider it a a well casing. Why do you have to bond it?
I don't think it is a well. It won't hurt anything to bond it but I don't think it is a well casing.I would consider it a a well casing.
It is for a submersible pump that will transfer feedlot run off to another pit for eventual distribution to a pivot
What makes a world of difference in tapping is a tap tool that will allow a 3/8”ratchet to work. Than get a 3/8” adaptor for your impact drill and use it.Thanks. Just got to the shop computer to search this out.
