Garage door opener recepts to be GFCI protected?

Hello.
Would I be correct to understand it that if I where to install two single
Receptacles for two garage doors in a garage that they would not have to
Be tamper resistant (in ceiling) but as per Art. 210.8 they would have to be gfci
Protected?

210.8 clearly calls for gfci for the recep. in the garage. We usually use a dead front gfci on the wall of the garage and then feed the garage door opener. The gfci must be readily accessible so the dead front makes it compliant.

406.12 calls for TR but if the recep. is more than 5'6" off the floor than TR is not required. Personally we just stock TR and we don't need to worry about it.
