i want to know what size wire to use to wire a subpanel in my garage
it is a 90 foot run underground through septer conduit
i need to have 60 amp main breaker
i already have 6awg thhn stranded wire
is that big enough with the expected voltage drop
also can i run these 4 wires in 1" conduit

Since you are a member of the profession, albeit a relatively new member, you are welcome to ask questions related to electrical installation work you intend to perform. I am concerned, however, that you might be in over you head, doing independent work for which you might not yet have learned enough to do safely. Also, I do not know if apprentices are allowed to do work in their own homes in your area.

I will allow the question to remain, but I would like you to give us your own answers first. Have you tried to find the answers in the NEC by yourself yet? What do you think about the wire size and the conduit fill?

By the way, I do not know what you mean by "septer conduit."

Lizard, in line with Charlie's post, what are your expected garage loads? What's the largest single load?

Voltage drop is dependent on two things: load current and line resistance.
