Customer is enclosing the carport. I will be installing (3) outlets inside and one on the exterior of the front and back. Am I able to to have one dedicated line cover all the outlets? We are on the 2014 code. Thank you in advance .

You are; all should be GFCI protected.

Was this the code cycle that forbid it to feed receptacle outlets on the exterior but then was recanted in 2017?

Yes, 2014 says the branch circuit supplying receptacles inside the garage can not also supply outlets outside the garage.

Yea I think 210.52 G 1 says I cannot share the circuit

In VA, we're still on the 2014 NEC, and have the option of using 2011 until Sept.

Why do you have such option?

Here when new code goes into effect - date of permit in relation to that date is what determines which code applies.

Sometimes guys file permits a little earlier than usual when code is going to change so they can get those particular projects to have the older code be what applies.
