Gas exhaust close to meter ?

On a new house, the plumber is installing two gas exhaust vents for on demand water heaters within 16” below our Elec meter. Is there a minimum distance required? Thanks

Not from an NEC standpoint. There may be something in the IPC or IMC.

Good luck trying to get them to alter their planned installation. Most plumbers I've encountered will counter with you move your electrical, even though electrical installation was there first. AHJ had to step in on some bad plumbing intrusion into required dedicated working space.

Your electric may have clearance requirements around the meter. Give them a call.
