Hello guys. I just did a walkthrough on a big house renovation and I had a heater guy argue/tell me that a gas fired furnace needs a 20amp dedicated circuit per the NEC code. I’ve always just ran a 15amp circuit. I didn’t feel like arguing with him in front of the homeowner so I let it go. Is there an NEC code that says a gas furnace needs a 20aml circuit? Any advice would be appreciated..Thanks!
