I was just wondering if anyone knew of any violations. The contractor has installed a gas heater in the ceiling of a warehouse and placed it about a foot from the light fixture with the discharge heat blowing right on the fixture. I am not sure if the would be any code violations by this or not for the distance of the line from the light or the heat blowing directly on the light any help would be appreciated

Two things come to mind, one can the light operate in the temperature surrounding it when the heater is running and two does the heater manufacturer have limits as to how close other equipment can be located adjacent to the heater.
