When bonding a propane gas line:
(the line is buried, fed from a tank in the yard)
Is it permissible to run the grounding conductor outside the foundation of the building, in 1/2" PVC, then bond it to the service ground rod?
Reason:
This would allow the conductor from having to enter the building and shorten the run by half.
Also would 24" be the appropriate burial depth for a bonding conductor in PVC since?
