Gas pipe routing Outdoors, in front of JBox and Recept

Hello all, please see attached graphics illustrating a condition I ran into.

A gas pipe is ran to a standby generator by the plumber. He ran in front of a local JB and maintenance recept. I know for "equipment" that is likely to be serviced live the front work space clearance would apply. However, I do not believe a Junction box and a maintenance receptacle necessarily warrant that type of work space clearance.

Does it being a gas line add any additional considerations?

I have a funny gut feeling about it but can't necessarily point to a code section.

I hope that's not just a rotoscope/cartoon version of the real photo. If it is, the plumber forgot to include a tee for the gas sediment trap.
