Since this time last year, gas prices skyrocketed, then have been dropping like a lead balloon lately. Just wondering what you?ve done in response to the price of fuel.

Fuel prices may have come down but materials, labor, insurance, I could go on, have not come down. I will continue to charge at the new rate. I also feel fuel will be back up within a year.

Where do you stand Ken? I see you have not voted.

I didn't do a whole lot of work while gas was high. I think I've put about 7000 miles on my truck in one year. And I use that truck for all of my driving, business and personal.

My prefered customers, are seeing a reduced trip charge since fuel prices are down. On the other hand, Service calls that come from Yellow Pages are still being charged the higher rate.

Also, I have been charging $75/day per diem to one "out of town" regular customer, but I told them today that I will be adjusting that figure downward to be inline with fuel prices, but warned them that it will go up just as fast, if high fuel prices return.
