Just came back from Branson MO and seen regular for $287, got back toward home and seen regular for $348 in SE Kansas, so go figure.....???

Funny how that is. I can't quite see a pattern. Seems like sometimes the more back in the sticks you get, the cheaper the gas is. That's backwards from what you'd think. My wife and I drove out yesterday to a village in the mountains to look at a litter of puppies a lady has for sale. The gas in that little town was a good 50 cents a gallon cheaper than where we live, and we're closer to the highway where the trucks get off to deliver gas. Go figure.

That mountain gas must be really old!:D

I just filled up at $3.06 a gallon in South Jersey

Ever since the WaWa's started selling gas they have seem to force all the foreign run and employed stations away. When they all started, about six months ago,the 3 or 4 gettys were like 15 cents higher then WaWA.For a few weeks they matched WaWas price, then they closed and are now empty.

Works for me i like getting my gas from someone who speaks english:grin:

It is $3.09 in Gloucester but on the other side of town it is $3.49. Makes it an easy decision on where to go. I heard somewhere that franchise gas stations can not offer as large discounts as the mom and pop gas stations (some law?).
I am not sure if this is true but that might explain some odd ball low gas prices.

I scored some 87 octane for $3.19 last night at an Exxon.....a few miles down the road "Delta" was selling the same for $3.05 ~ when the idiot light comes on, you spend like an idiot :D

Gas in Alaska is running $3.95 at the cheapest in Anchorage, some places still over $4.00 dollars. Places out in the bush are taking a beating.

$3.55 in central fl. Still to high! Our Economy would be better if gas went down.
Actually, the economy would be better if the price of pizza went down. Gas is irrelevant. Pizza is getting ridiculous.

Tell me about it. $18.40 for a medium (14") pepperoni
the other day. What is the world coming to?

pizza gas?

pizza gas?

Only with peperoni's.

Its going lower here. $3.70

It will decline till elections then look out. I have noticed my 32 gallon tank gets 33.5 gallons on a fill up. Must be the standard deviation of the greed factor when they do the standard weights and measure testing. Or a cold day in Hades during the fill up.

They had a problem in TX where a gallon of gas wasn't. The company maintenance truck was running just ahead of the state standard weights and measure truck re-adjusting the pumps. I'm wondering if they also had a crew following the weights and standards truck re-re-adjusting the pumps, if ya know what I mean. I guess they would be called the loss prevention crew or maybe the loss leader (spelled "litre") crew. Its a Texas thing I guess.
