Got any stories of the GC walking off the Job ?

Ever worried about the next 24-48 hours, Over doing your job...

Lock Down ... Lock Out... or Other ????

Worst I've ever been involved with was a SFD. I was on my last hour of trimming when the HVAC inspector shows up.

He places this on the front door:

He asks me about my work, and says I can finish.

Never had a GC walk off.
But.
Did have my supervisor show up still sweating alcohol 2 hours late for the final walk through on a grocery store job once. He yelled at me because I didn't call him to wake him up. I told him to look at his phone to see that I called him every 15 minutes for the last 3 hours...
The standard Nokia ring tone still haunts me to this day because of this man.
