GE Afci's

Anybody see any combo GE afci's?

Talked to a guy at GE supply, he said they were just released and he could get some but it would take a few days. He said they dragged their feet.

Just wondering if anybody has actually seen any.

The guy at another supply house said I could probably just use a Siemens. :grin:

We have had them in our supply company for about 2-3 weeks. Haven't used them yet. Cost about $50.00
 
We've had GE AFCI combos here for about 1.5 weeks.

I just installed four on existing wiring that I can't see. (It's a "correcting others work" situation). So far, they've held. . .

In nudging the folks at Big Orange, I learned, in one electrical department worker's opinion, that the mother ship was still in negotiation with GE over the purchase price. This worker thought the wait for a GE breaker to show up in his store was of un-knowable duration.

My local supply house has had GE combination AFCI breakers for about 2 or 3 weeks now.

no combo's down here yet. i don't deal w/ every supply house so somebody might, but i haven't seen them.
 
I guess that I should add that probably the reason that my local supply house has them is I kept hounding them on when they would get them. I sure they brought them in as quick as possible so I would quit bugging them about it. :D
