Hello everyone!

I am currently on a solar panel field trying to figure out the communication between our SCADA and the GE Hydran 201Ci-1. Has anyone here worked with that? This is our campany's first time working with these and we're having a hard time trying to figure everything out. I got all the documentation and the softwares to get myself set up but I am currently lost.

The GE Hydran 201Ti is installed on a 240kv / 35kv transfo.

Thanks in advance for any help !

Just took a quick look at it. It looks like it communicates via RS485. The SCADA will need the driver installed to interpret the values.

Thanks for your reply @coop3339 !

I actually got everything to work yesterday using RS485 half duplex, plugged into port 21-22-23 of the GE Hydran 201Ci-1

The attached picture is when I first got everything to work, after that I cleaned up everything neatly and made a permanent install.

FYI, this was connected RJ45 serial into a SEL-3335 using a SEL-3390S8 interface. Got the modbus map working on my SEL-3335 and all my data was showing up correctly on the SCADA HMI.

Hope this can help someone in the future.

Best regards, Fred.
