On a few occasions on service calls I have needed to locate GE parts, breakers etc. I don't regularly use or purchse GE parts or gear so I don't have a good relationship with the local supplier(s) for GE BUT in the past I have found the info I needed on the internet after being told it didn't exist or needed to purchase an entire new disconect etc. I am currently looking for a specific portion to a GE meter bank. The plastic part that the "tenant breaker" fits into is broken. All I need is this plastic part but I am being told the ENTIRE meter bank has to be replaced! I just can't imagine that being the case. It actually looks to me like the "meter socket assembly" is what I need...it seems that the buses that come from the meter to the "tenant breaker" would come together due to the rating etc. Bottom line is that I need to fix the issue without replacing the entire unit. Any help or suggestions or GE rep. contact info or anything would be awesome. Thanks

I thought about ebay...but what about warranty? Have you had any concerns or offer any suggestions concerning that?

I let the customer know that these are not factory parts and are "as is " when installed . When comparing several thousand for "new" against a few hundred for a part they understand that they have no warranty.

Look at MidWest too, they and GE have a lot of parts in common.

Did you speak with your friends at the POCO, they may have some "junk" lying around.
