We are installing a lets say 112 kva transformer.
There is no steel in building.
Can the gec be installed with the primary feeders.
From some distrubition board on the other side of building.
That has a ground bar in the board.

And if it could be done the gec will still be sized as per 260.66

This would not be permitted. It is require to go back to the water within 5ft from where it enters the building, as per the reference that Augie provided.

You can tap off the existing GEC is it is closer and of sufficient size.
