GEC out of transformer or panel

I cant seem to find in the code that the GEC must terminate with the bonding jumper. It would seem to me that as long as the supply side bonding jumper is sized the same as the GEC it should be code complaint. Am I missing something? See attachment

250.30(A)(5) ..........This connection shall be made at the same point on the separately derived system where the system bonding jumper is connected.
