If the GEC is in metal conduit and a pull box is used a grounding bushing is used where the GEC enters and leaves the box. Does the GEC itself need to be connected to the screws on the bonding bushing, or can a piece of wire, the same size as the GEC, be run between the bushings and then crimped to the GEC?

I see the GEC as the entire system of conductors that are irreversibly crimped together. I'd say it is OK to do what you are proposing. I do recommend awaiting your next response, to see if someone else has a different opinion.

This is a common method:

but I see nothing in 250.64(E) that prevents you from using a bond jumper to the bushing and connecting it to the electrode conductor with a listed grounding connector such as a split bolt.

I don't think you would need grounding bushings if the pull box doesn't have eccentric or concentric knocks, if I am wrong please let me know.

GECs and service conductors can require more substantial raceway grounding methods, than standard hubs and locknuts that you can use for most applications.

You are wrong. I let you know. Only way around it is in PVC

You're wrong. Have you ever read 250.64(E)(1)? Do you know what ferrous means? You probably shouldn't speak in absolutes unless you're positive you know your subject matter.

Ok, whatever. You don't have to be disrespectful about it. I clearly said I thought it was ok, that isn't an absolute.

Sorry my post was directed at the guy who quoted you, not you personally.
