Whether or not you ?have to do? items 3 and 4 is a matter to be determined by your contract, and have more to do with whether or not you will be paid for the job. Items 5, 6, and 7 are
never ?have to do? items.
I would place the other contractor?s statement of ?that's just how you have to do it? under category 7.
