Gen-Ready Generac load center and a Generac 7KW PowerPact Generator that I am installing. My problem is with the T1 connection in the Gen-Ready load center. The generator has a T1 terminal and it states that the other end of this wire needs to be connected to 120 volts to keep the battery charged but the load center does not have a T1 connection (the load center has N1, N2, 23, 15B, and 0 terminals). My question is where can I pick up the 120 volts that will allow the battery to be kept charged when the generator is not running and when the generator is running?

By definition the T1, T2 terminals on an ATS are the Load terminals of the ATS. These terminals are normally connected to the N1, N2 terminals of the load center and are always energized (either from utility or gen.) So connect the gen T1 terminal to the load center N1 terminal (main bus.)
Of course this assumes that this is a 240/120V single phase system and the N1/ T1 terminal measures 120V to neutral.

What I have found other places on line is that if you connect to the N1 terminal in the load center the battery will not change when the generator is running. This because the N1-N2 breaker is on the power company side of the panel.

Ok, I looked online and see your confusion. The ATS is built into the Utility/ Load panel.
The bottom line is you need to connect the gen batt charger (T1) to one phase of the LOAD SIDE of the ATS for it to be always energized regardless of what position the ATS is in.
You need to identify where that terminal is as I am not familiar with this particular product.

I looked again and drawing shows battery charger hooked to a breaker bottom right side

Ok, yes the bottom breakers are the ATS load breakers and top are utility only breakers.
So it makes sense to connect to the gen supply switch below the ATS which corresponds to the ATS load breakers.

Thanks for the help guys.....I appreciate it!
