I have two at a day camp facility. One is used to back up 1/2 of an admin bldg. and the other for a cooking pavilion. Performance wise they've held up pretty well but the facility doesn't maintain them. Both have a considerable amount of rust and have been resurrected a few times in desperation. My only complaint came at one point in time when they called me in because the unit wouldn't start. I looked and looked and looked but couldn't find a reason for the malfunction. Finally I thought "maybe there's a fuse". So I started looking and couldn't find one so, I began removing the control panel cover only to find a plug-in fuse located on the back side of the compartment. Hell of a design !!!

Anyway, if you truly need the 50A, 120/240V output it will perform for you. However, read through all the specs on the unit and make sure it fits your needs.
