Can you remove pmm contactor 24v coil from generacs plastic case and install directly into breaker panel? If not could I order a 240v contactor ul508 (industrial motor control) and install directly into breaker panel? My 24v control wire will be THHN #14.

Given the right materials and enough know how one can make any sort of Frankenstein creation work. The need to engage in such efforts are few....It is a really old piece of equipment is one..... it just needs to work till dawn is another.

Most days of the week it is easier to use what the manufacturer provides without any alterations; added bonus.... no need to pull the liability insurance file out and see what it covers.
