Generac QT1800

New to this, so if I violate a rule, please forgive. We just bought a QT 18000 Generac generator for back up power. It is natural gas. It was vewry hard to start at first and then ran like a charm. I shut it off and tried to restart in about 10 minutes. Would not start nad backfired twice. Any ideas? Genrac is not being very helpful.

i recommend contacting a generac authorized dealer/service center. they also offer service plans for the maintenance of your stand-by generator. if you let them install it, they will do the startup and excercise, and if there's any problems w/ the unit its not on you to fix it as it is now.
