General Electric Refridgerator

The job I am working on has an old G.E. refridgerator, it looks like an old ice box, the compressor and coil sit on top. Tried to attach picture but file is to big. Want to find out how old it is. Anyone have any ideas?

That's probably a "monitor top". Google that and see what you see.

my parents have a '50's model philco refrigerator. its only used for storing drinks, but it was completely refurbed and looks mighty slick. has this gigantic pull handle on the front. it originally belonged to my grandparents, who throw nothing away, and he found it somewhere laying around the farm.
