I'm trying to get a monthly peak demand (KW) for a large project im working from the Utility. They sent me a monthly numbers of the existing facility of monthly peak demand of months ranging from 1.2-1.5, Which is fine. But what is a typical multiplier? This facility has a 2000A 480/277 Service. I'm assuming this is with a multiplier of 1000 maybe?? They are not responsive... the person im speaking to does not seem like they understand. Thank you

I think if they gave you numbers without units that is not 'fine', especially if the numbers don't make sense. They need to provide units.

Does 1.2-1.5 MW peak make sense for this facility?

I just called them and spoke to somebody else. The meter has a multiplier of 400. So around 600KW. But there is two transformers with a meter each.... so each is registering around 1.5. So there is a total of 1200KW peak ... which makes sense
