general lighting loads for convenient store/gas station/

Any idea on general lighting loads for a convenient store with a gas station?

Attached is a dunkin donuts. Total sq ft is 3953.

Please advise

Table 220.12 has a row for "Stores," and allows 3 VA per square foot. I would go with that.

The minimum general lighting for a store is given in Table 220.12 and is 3VA/sq.ft. Since Table 220.12 does not list a gas station under "Type of Occupancy". The lighting load for the gas station should be based on 220.14(D) for lighting within the building and also must include the outdoor lighting load at the gasoline dispensing islands.

Question here John, why isn't this just another store that happens to sell gasoline among other things? ;)

Hi Wes: I was under the assumption that there was a store and a gasoline dispensing station where repairs could be done. If it's like the common 7-11 store with the gas dispensing pumps, the building lighting load would be calculated at 3VA /sq.ft. plus the lighting for the dispensing island lighting would be included in the service calc. sorry about the confusion.
