Generator bonding

I installed a FG Wilson P13.5-4 on a guard tower here in Afghanistan and am having an issue with the inspector. The factory ground terminated on a 3/8 X2" stud attached to the frame. I landed my EGC, GEC and MBJ on the bolt with compression lugs. The inspector is saying the stud is not rated as a termination point for any wires including the factory ground. Any help.

If that is the way the manufacturer got it listed and installed it, then it is legal.

250.8 Connection of Grounding and Bonding Equipment.
(A) Permitted Methods. Equipment grounding conductors,
grounding electrode conductors, and bonding jumpers
shall be connected by one of the following means:
(1) Listed pressure connectors
(2) Terminal bars
(3) Pressure connectors listed as grounding and bonding
equipment
(4) Exothermic welding process
(5) Machine screw-type fasteners that engage not less than
two threads or are secured with a nut
(6) Thread-forming machine screws that engage not less
than two threads in the enclosure
(7) Connections that are part of a listed assembly
(8) Other listed means

Okay that worked for the factory ground, now he is saying that I/he can't verify that it is listed for the other terminations, of course I then cited (5) machine thread with nut. He really wants me to drill out the enclosuer and add one nut and bolt for each termination. I thru back how do I know each one is listed for a termination.

So you have a factory threaded stud welded the frame that is provided for these terminations and he will not accept that?

It sounds like the dude is having a bad day and taking it out on you.

Anything in the manual that states that the stud is provided for these reasons?

Unfortunately the manual does not spell out the stud is for terminating. Just a one-line showing the bond. I'm trying to cite common sense since it is a 2" stud (overkill for one lug), but the inspectors here have none. He is asking me to show how many terminations a 3/8 machine screw is rated for. IMO the stud is just for support not actually part of the electrical connection.
