90+ Brushes have been installed on a 170 M/W generator field which is rotated by a turbine. The field is rotated thus creating energy. Question. Even so, as the field is grounded by a #6 wire and grounding brush, is there a danger of produced energy and/or static electricity to the field and/or any person within close proximity ie touching field.
The current transformers have been disconnected. This generator produces Direct current and the knife switched are opened.
My concern is this as well. As the generator field rotates, can there be feedback thus presenting a discharge and/or danger to people working in and around the generator.
