Generator Decrement Curve

Hello,<br><br>This is a question based on the the short circuit decrement curve of a alternator. In the alternator data sheet it has three of the curves with different connections: 1) Low wye or Delta Connection 2) High wye connection and 3) 600V Connection.<br><br>I am not able to understand the difference. Can anyone explain this? I have attached the curve sheet for reference.

The difference between what? Looks pretty self explanitory to me. How do you intend to connect it?

I think that the OP is not realizing that the Alternator supplied with the genet has two different output voltage options, depending on the way the stator coils are connected. (The exact voltage combinations available will vary with the particular model.) There are a total of 12 output leads from the alternator which can be field reconnected.
One set of connections produces a wye configuration with the line to neutral voltage at the lower of the two voltages and the line to line voltage (delta) higher. Another set of connections produces a high voltage wye. There should be a separate set of wiring drawings in the documentation that makes that clear. It is just not packaged with the decrement curves.
