I was told there are specific requirements to monitor emergency lighting in Connecticut. Apparently there is an addition to the 2005 IBC, section 1006.3.1. Our interpretation of this item is:
Whenever an emergency lighting circuit is opened, or a manual act including accidental opening of a switch controlling normal lighting facilities - the generator has to start.
Can anyone shed any light on this issue?
Thanks
