Generator Feeder Protection

The scenario is as follow: 2MW Generator feeds a distributionboard that is 50ft away with 4 circuit breakers that feed other smaller boards. do the 4 circuit breakers protect the main feeder between the generator and distributionboard? what are your thoughts. thanks.

Conductors need to be protected per article 240.4. I see no tap rule, 240.21, that would allow 50' of conductors from a generator to the protective device(s).
