Generator feeders

I have a 400 amp 240 volt service. I will be installing a full size generator. The distance that the generator will be from the transfer switch will be about 280 feet. I think i would like to use parallel 4/0 xlp direct burial conductors. Could you please let me know if i figured this properly? Thank you so much..

If your load is actually 400 amps, then it would take parrallel 350's to keep the voltage drop to 3%.

(using 4/0s would allow a load of appromimately 260 amps and maintain a 3% drop.)
