I have 2 generators driven by one motor for a food truck. Each generator has 4 wires: black and red ( 120v each), white (neutral) and a green (ground). The white and green wires are connected (bonded). When I wired the breaker box inside the truck I wired the left side to be ran by 1 generator and the right side to be ran by the other. The plug that I have is a 4 prong that is wired from the box to an outlet outside of the truck. Both generators are ran by one motor and is mounted to a utility rack on the front of the truck.
1) how can I wire 1 generator with 2 hot wires to 1 wire in the plug?
2) can both generators share the neutral wire? Both generators are bonded.
3) will the frame of the truck be a suitable ground? As long as the stator is bonded it should trip the breaker?

I have pictures and any other information you need. Not sure how to post pictures here but I could email them. Or I'll post them on the Facebook account: Bipolar Express. Any Information, comments or concerns would be much appreciated. This is the last thing I need to figure out before I can open

First, the NEC does not cover vehicles such as a food truck. Next, in my state, Washington, a permit and inspection is required for food trucks. We are unable to assist you further as this is a DIY post. Since you are dealing with food, electrical, water, its critical you find a qualifed company to make sure your installation is safe and not a hazard
