What aspect of an installation would cause a generator's fuel tank to require the higher degree of protection afforded by UL-2085? Is it the project location (e.g., near a school or hospital), or the size of the tank (e.g., anything over 5000 gallons), or the type of fuel (e.g., gasoline versus diesel)? Where would I find the rules? Or is this purely an AHJ call (or more to the point, a Fire Marshall call)?
