I have hemo dialysis clinic and I am going to provide generator critical branch NEC 2014 Article 517.33(A)(8)(e). What type of generator do you need emergency, legally required or optional standby systems? Also what generator Article should be used NEC 2014?

I was referring to nec articles 700s. Which type of generator from NEC 2014? Emergency, legally req, optional standby?

See the definition of Emergency System in 517.2, note it points you to NFPA 99.

Now back to NFPA 70, read 517.25, 26, and 30.

Basically the system will be Emergency (article 700) with permission to feed an Equipment branch (the same a 702 Optional Standby system) through a separate ATS, all other parts of the design and installation will be per 517.30, 31, 32, and 33.
