I know this is a long shot but I'm looking for information (service manual/ wiring schematic) for a 50kw G50F3 generator. Trying to help a friend get his running. I've replaced a bad AVR made repairs to the alternator now I need a controls wiring schematic. I've searched and made several phone calls to Caterpillar without any success. Any help or any leads would be greatly appreciated.

I would google Olympian 50kw G50F3 generator. Or go to the SmokStak forum site and sign up. They deal mostly with gensets.
 
Thanks for the info. I've Googled till my eyes bleed, nothing. I did come across Smokestack, Ill go back and check them out. Thanks again, Ray

Can you get the serial no. off the unit or a photo of the nameplate?
